 I was so impressed with this Sierra Smoke BBQ! Every component of the meal was executed perfectly! Delicious! The staff was so friendly and the staging and set up was gorgeous! Thank you for my making my family's event so special. We will be calling you again! 

 Kim and Lewis did a spectacular job catering our wedding! The food was phenomenal and our guests seemed to enjoy it very much! Everyone was still raving about how great their food was even after our wedding! Kim does such a great job presenting and displaying the food and tables in such a beautiful way. Kim, Lewis, and their team are very professional and great to work with! You can tell they take pride in their work which makes them run such a great catering business! They even made clean up easy! Highly recommend for your big event!

 I wrote a really long awesome review and my daughter grabbed my phone and somehow deleted it! But... long story short, Kim and Louis are absolutely amazing to work with! Not only is Kim just the nicest person, but she is so artistic and makes the display beautiful! Great food. Great service. Great team! and Great Leftovers! Sierra Smoke BBQ Catered our Sons In Retirement (SIR) Annual Picnic on August 3, 2017 for 135 of our Members.

 Sierra Smoke catered my wedding at the Mother Lode Ranch last month. We could not be more pleased with how everything turned out for my special day. The presentation and the food was outstanding. I honestly cannot think of another cater in town that puts on the type of spread like Sierra Smoke. Everyone is still raving about the food. One of the things that stood out to me the most as a bride was that I did not have to supervise and they had everything that they needed on their trailer/smoker. There was so much going on and the last thing I wanted to do on my wedding day was supervise. I really appreciated that. Everything turned out perfect from the taste to the presentation. I believe that Sierra Smoke should be seriously considered for all your catering needs. 

 Kim & Louis put their whole heart into what they do and it is greatly reflected in theirfood and presentation. Our friends and family still come up to us and tell us how amazing our wedding food was. Our big day would not have been the same without them! They were very helpful before and during the wedding. Everything was planned out perfectly. The decoration were also a huge bonus, very beautiful. Also, the food was amazing!! Sierra Smoke is the best option by far.

Had a fight night bbq with Sierra smoke and it was amazing. Thanks guys for cooking such a awesome meal! 

 Kim and Louis are nothing short of AMAZING. They catered our daughter and son-in-law's wedding at Hurst Ranch, which was perfection. Even perfecting BBQ in the rain, thanks to a little help from the wonderful staff at Hurst. Their food was flawless. Their presentation was beautiful. Their staff was gracious and warm. Kim took our many requests to heart, down to every fine detail. We really can't say enough about this wonderful couple and their staff. They will not disappoint. 

 Sierra Smoke catered my daughter's rehearsal dinner and wedding. Kim was wonderful to work with! My daughter is vegan and Kim went out her way to create delicious vegan dishes for the menu. All of the food was amazing and the presentation was perfect! We received so many compliments from our guests! We would work with Sierra Smoke again in a heartbeat! 

 Excellent food. Very cool bbq trailer rig with multiple kettles. Coolest bbq rig I ever saw, the guys all loved that. For our party, the food is setup in a buffet line that looks great. They decorate the food serving area really cute, and they use fresh ingredients they purchased at a nearby farmers market. The owner, her husband, family, and staff were all very nice and easy to work with too. 

 My wedding was a month and a half ago. Sierra catered my wedding. I got so many compliments on the food! Kim was great to work with! She was organized and always kept me updated. We still get complimented about it! The displays were gorgeous. The workers were on top of their game. You would be lucky to have them for your event! Thank you so much! 

 Sierra Smoke BBQ provides a spectacular catering experience at a reasonable price! The presentation is absolutely beautiful and the food is to die for. The staff is very friendly and professional. 

 We had the pleasure of meeting this lovely couple at the wedding show in Sonora in early 2016. We fell in love with Kim's set up and even more with their food!! We booked them that day! Throughout the year Louis and Kim kept in touch and updated us with our menus and options that we had. Kim also asked what type if flowers and decorations we were using so the buffet tables would match and blend in with the wedding. They have been amazing to work with. We hired them to do our rehearsal dinner as well! On our rehearsal day we did a lot of set up and a lot of work. After we got through the rehearsal we walked into the hall where we were eating and were BLOWN AWAY! The food was so amazing!! We had mac n cheese and sliders. We had so much food that they packed up and put it in the cooler for us and our wedding party. We did NOT let it go to waste.  The day of the wedding while we were taking photos they sent over some appetizers for the wedding party to make sure we were taken care of! When we were introduced at the reception they had plates made for us with a little of everything on them! We had tri tip, chicken, potatoes, salad, and fruit and veggies. Everything was so good! Meat was hot like it should be, fresh fruit and salad. We even went back for seconds!! The staff was awesome. They cleared the tables as the tables ate and finished. There was plenty of food for guests to have seconds as well. Everything just flowed perfectly. Obviously we loved Louis and Kim and the staff but what everyone couldn't stop talking about was the presentation. The tables and their display that they set up are so unique and the food is displayed beautifully. We were so pleased with everything and cannot thank you guys enough!! You were such a huge part of our wedding!!  

 Sierra Smoke catered our wedding a few weeks ago and they are truly AMAZING!! I would hire them again in a heartbeat. The food was incredible, all of our guests raved about the smell of the smoker and then raved even more about how good the food was. A lot of people had seconds and we got to go home with yummy left overs too! Kim and Louis and the whole staff were just great. Their set up was so beautiful and they were a joy to work with. Kim's attention to detail is so great and it really took a lot of stress off of my plate in planning our wedding. They picked up plates as guests were finishing and provided great, nice looking disposable dinnerware. Our beloved dog went missing the night before our wedding and they were so kind asking about him and Kim even texted me a few days later after he was found and told me that their whole family was so relieved that he was home and that is something I will never forget. I love that it is a family affair, I believe their kids help serve as well. You will NOT be disappointed! I cannot wait to eat their food again!! 

If your looking for someone to cater any type of a event look no further! Here’s my story, a good friend of ours here in Oakdale asked if she could host her boyfriends surprise 50 th at my house.
Without any hesitation my wife and I said absolutely yes! Other than getting outside and straightening up a lil bit it was a go!
The rest was on her with all the pre planning that goes on with a surprise party....
Earlier in the day leading up to the festivities the caterers showed up (Sierra Smoke BBQ) and I had the pleasure of meeting the owners Mr & Mrs Louis Alexander
They were so down to earth and easy to work with, right away I knew Sierra Smoke BBQ was no joke. The proof was in the smell of the food and how organized they had everything from prep to the serving of the food! The cheese,fruit,nuts and veggie trays were so well displayed you just new this was going to be delicious before you got a chance to eat it!
In short I just wanted to give my two cents about this company and the quality of their delicious food and service, I completely recommend them if your looking for awesome food,service and most of all keeping local businesses busy in our communities.

To all my friends I seriously recommend Sierra Smoke BBQ, this company got their act together! I’m pretty sure there isn’t an event they couldn’t handle!

 Sierra Smoke Bbq catered my wedding last night and let me tell you they are simply amazing. They are a very professional cratering business. Kim keeps in touch with you after booking with them up until your wedding day and responds to messages very quickly. Their set up is always beautiful and you can tell they take pride in their work. Our guests were all raving about their food. I would recommend them for any event.

  If you want the best BBQ of your life then you need this place at your event! Ever since I tried their food I was IN LOVE. They catered my wedding in May 2017, and it was everything and more. I was really bummed I only got one plate! They were super organized, their staff was very nice. They took great care of us! Trust me.... you need Sierra Smoke BBQ in your life and at your next event. Whatever you want, Kim will accommodate. She was always open to make whatever we wanted happen. Our favorite was their pulled pork and tri-tip. And it was phenomenal!!! Thank you Louis and Kim and your team! You made our wedding complete!  

 We had a wonderful experience with Sierra Smoke BBQ when they catered a three day wedding extravaganza at Pinecrest Chalet. All of our guests were delighted with the fresh, tasty food, the beautiful decor, the professionalism of the staff, the beautiful decor and of course, the incredible smoking, barbecue machine! Kim and Louis and their staff are warm, professional and eager to please their customers. HIghly recommend! 

I have used Sierra Smoke BBQ at two events, a small luncheon and a retirement party with hundreds of people. Both experiences went off without a hitch. First, the food is without compare, hands down the best. Second, the professionalism, customer care, and attention to detail is spot on. And...beautifully presented. At both events I have coordinated, Kim and Louis and all of the Sierra Smoke BBQ staff made my job easy and made me look good! I would recommend Sierra Smoke BBQ first to anyone in need of a caterer. 

 Kim is amazing. Louis' BBQ could not have been better!!! They catered my wedding at Union hill and Kim killed it! She bought decor to match mine and it was beautiful. She is a dream to work with. She went above and beyond to make us happy. The Mac and Cheese bar was perfection. The meat was the die for! Beyond perfection. I couldn't have asked for better people to work with! Amazing. I cannot thank Kim enough for all her hard work. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! 

 Sierra Smoke BBQ was the best/easiest decision we made for our April 2017 wedding! Due to scheduling we were never able to taste test before hand but we were confident based on reviews and talking to previous brides and they did not disappoint! Kim and Louis were so fantastic and easy to work with, we even had a power outage the day of our wedding and you never would have known. It was such a relief to have such an amazing cateroring crew, they were absolute professionals. Everyone that attended just raved about how delicious the food was. They were even kind enough to make sure the bridal party got some appetizers while we kept them hostage for photos! We couldn't have been happier and are so blessed, they were a big part in making our day perfect! They are the absolute BEST!

Kim and Louis made our wedding even more special by creating lovely and inviting spaces where guests enjoyed grilled appetizers, assorted meats and cheese platter and the wonderful homemade sangria was a big hit on such a warm day! The meal was also exactly as we'd hoped, perfectly grilled and seasoned tri-tip and chicken with all the fixins'! Simple and elegant!

 Sierra Smoke recently catered my wedding and rehearsal dinner at the Union Hill Inn. I cannot express enough how wonderful it was working with them! They were so friendly, quick to respond, and made the whole process a breeze. Kim went above and beyond to cater to my vegan diet and everything they made was absolutely delicious. I had rave reviews from my guests. The presentation was also absolutely stunning (literally over the top beautiful). I'm trying to think of another excuse for an event so that I can use them again!  Kim, Louis and Staff did a great job feeding nearly 100 hundred at an outdoor memorial celebration. The food was well prepared, excellent quality, fabulously displayed and prepared on site. Sierra Smoke catered our wedding at Union Hill Inn last month and we couldn't have been happier with their service! Kim, Louis, and their team are unbelievably caring and were so dedicated to making our day perfect. We asked for passed hors d'oeuvres for our cocktail hour and Kim was more than happy to work with us and offer suggestions. She even noticed we didn't have a vegetarian option and took it upon herself to make one for us. Kim's attention to detail is fantastic and she does such a beautiful job with the set up. The food was the best food I've ever had at any wedding and we are still getting messages from our guests about how good it was! We absolutely loved working with them and would hire them again in a second! 

 Not only do I get the privilege to work with these amazing people, I also had the opportunity to be on the other side. I hired Sierra Smoke BBQ to cater my sons wedding. From the time we booked to the day of the event Kim was always in contact with me and my daughter in law. Kim's attention to detail and creativity are beyond words. Louis is the true master. He takes such pride in making sure everything is cooked to perfection. The food was one thing I didn't have to worry about on that special day because I knew it would be perfect and it was. Sierra Smoke BBQ you do it right and with class.

 I just wanted to say that I recently had the pleasure of enjoying an anti-pasta luncheon put on by Sierra Smoke. It was wonderful! Kim is well organized, professional and best of all it was beautifully displayed AND delicious. Thank you Kim and I would recommend you without hesitation. 

 Kim and Louis made my mom's 75th birthday party an event to remember! We had over 100 guests and they were all raving about the food. They use fresh ingredientsto put together a delicious menu and then present it like a work of art. My family was very impressed. We would recommend Sierra Smoke BBQ to anyone!

 Both Kim and Louis were absolutely professional and a real pleasure to talk with on the phone. They had clear plans, flexible solutions, attentive follow-up, and were just simply easy to communicate with. I was instantly reassured that the 100 person wedding catering would go very smoothly. And I'm very impressed with Kim's eye for food presentation design. Sadly we had to cancel on them, but I will definitely use them in the future.
